Rebekah Vann is a 2006 graduate of MidAmerica Nazarene University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She earned her Masters of Science degree in Sport and Recreation, (emphasis in Coaching Education) from Ohio University in August 2013. She has had over 10 years of playing and coaching experience. Her playing experiences include AAU, high school, college and semi-professional careers. Her coaching endeavors include stints as a graduate assistant coach at Southwest Baptist University (NCAA D II) and volunteer assistant and video coordinator at Avila University (NAIA D I). She has worked basketball camps for Texas Christian University, Kansas State University,Called To Greatness Camps, & G.A.B.L.’s clinic which featured basketball great Jackie Stiles. She has volunteered for several years at the men’s NAIA basketball tournament and the women’s Big 12 basketball tournament, and the women's MIAA Division II Tournaments, held in Kansas City. Rebekah coached with the 17U Lawrence Lady Prospects AAU program, and has previously coached with Lenexa Sixers and several other teams. She was a former Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at NCCAA & NAIA's Division II member, Central Christian College in Mcpherson (KS) in 2017. In the summer of 2019 she was named Head Coach of the KC Stampede, a semi-pro women’s basketball team. Then in 2020, the previous KC Stampede was renamed Kansas Rise. During her inaugural season with the Kansas Rise, as Head Coach, her team competed in the Livin’ the Dream Summer League and also in the newly formed WSBL (Wheat State Basketball League). She is the Founder and Director of both Reign Basketball Academy LLC, and Reign Basketball Ministries Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization. She is the co-founder of The Wheat State Basketball League (2020) and owner of the Kansas Rise.
